By plane From Venice Airport (Aeroporto di Venezia Marco Polo) Water Bus: to reach the dockyard of the airport (on foot 5 minutes). Get on the line “Alilaguna Arancio” There is one run per hour at minute 55 from 9:55 to 17:55. Tickets on board (just) at 12 euros. Get off at GUGLIE STOP.(It takes 45 minutes). And then walk on the street beside the canal in the opposite direction of your water bus for 200 metres. Water Taxi: to reach the dockyard of the airport (on foot 5 minutes). Get on a water taxi and ask to the driver: “ Hotel Cà Dogaressa in Cannaregio Canal”. 20-25 minutes. The run could be cost 80-100 euros. Road Bus: there are two bus corporations to join Venice to the airport. The main is the ACTV. The line 5 runs usually on 30 minutes and takes 20 minutes to Venice. The rate is 2,50 euros. The other corporation is ATVO with runs on 40 minutes. Rate 3 euros.
The terminus of both lines is Piazzale Roma (Venice). From there you can walk 20 minutes following the directions on our map or get on a water bus line 42 or 52 (on 10 minutes), get off at GUGLIE stop and walk on the street beside the canal in the same direction of your water bus for 200 metres. Take Eurobus ATVO to Venezia - Piazzale Roma (70 minutes). The rate is 6 euros. From Piazzale Roma you can walk 20 minutes following the directions on our map or get on a water bus line 42 or 52 (on 10 minutes), get off at GUGLIE stop and walk on the street beside the canal in the same direction of your water bus for 200 metres.
By train
When You will be outside the train station (Venezia Santa Lucia) keep left following the main street (without to cross the bridge in front of the train station). After 5-7 minutes walking You have to cross the GUGLIE bridge (the only one to cross) turn left and follow the street beside the canal for 200 metres.
If you want avoid to walk reach the water bus stops at the train station exit and get on the line 42 or 52. After 5 minutes get off at GUGLIE stop and then follow the street beside the canal in the same direction of your water bus for 200 metres.
By car
Park your car in one of the parking lots available at the doors of Venice, at Isola del Tronchetto or at Piazzale Roma (Bus terminal).
Get on a water bus line to GUGLIE stop. From Tronchetto line 2 to Ferrovia (the train station) and then line 42 or 52; instead from Piazzale Roma line 42 or 52.
Location

Departing from "Ferrovia"- a 10-minute walk from the hotel-, by taking the vaporetto of either line 1 or 2 you will be able to appreciate Ca' Vendramin Calergi, the site of the Casinò, Ca' Pesaro, Museo d'arte moderna, Ca' d'Oro of superb late gothic architecture, just some of the palaces that follow one after another in a variety of marvelous styles and shapes.
The vaporetti also stop atAccademia, where can be found the Gallerie that house masterpieces of Venetian art such as Giorgione, Titian, Veronese and many others, at Chiesa della Salute the superb 17th century work by Longhena, and then you will have arrived at St. Mark's.
Very close to the hotel there are true jewels of art and history such as the baroque Palazzo Surian, which at one time was the French embassy that had as one of its many guests the philosopher Rousseau, Palazzo Labia, a sumptuous 18th century residence with beautiful frescoes by Tiepolo and the suggestive Ghetto di Venezia, that unwinds in a maze of narrow streets and small squares around Campo del Ghetto Novo, where you can find Museo Ebraico and the Schole, the five synagogues of the Ghetto.
